Hope you all had a great week! Ours was busy celebrating Lucia's first birthday and I still can't believe she is one. I shared her birth story this week here. We're going to be having a small party for her with friends and family this coming weekend but it was so special doing something small for her on the day of! I think she knew something was up and she was all smiles when she got to eat an entire cupcake with frosting by herself!😄
This weekend Ben has off so we're enjoying this time together and celebrating Father's Day. He is not a big party person so I think we'll maybe go hiking or even the zoo since it's a place we haven't been able to go together the five of us. I love being able to take all three an adventure out to these fun spots but it's never quite the same without Ben 😉 I'm so incredibly grateful for him and even in this crazy season of our lives when he has to spend most of his days at the hospital he takes the time to do the little things, like teach Gabriel to ride a bike, bathe LucÃa and sing itsy bitsy spider to Cristian. I thank God every day for allowing our paths to cross and for the loving and kind example he is to our children.
