We received the Dock-A-Tot to review. All opinions are my own.
Several months ago when Lucia was a newborn we were sent the Dock-A-Tot to review. As someone who has used a co-sleeper for all of our three littles I was so intrigued about this sleep system because I'd heard so many great things about it! And anything for some extra sleep, am I right? The Dock-A-Tot is an easily portable sleeping system. It's also uniquely designed to reinvent the womb and it's a lot like a snug pod for baby to sleep in. It creates a safe environment and hopefully lots more extra hours of sleep! I really loved how sturdy it was and yet breathable. It was also so easy to clean because all of the covers are removable which is so very helpful.
Firstly, I cannot get over how tiny Lucia was in this picture! Also, belly and polka dot pants -insert crying emoji here-! When our Dock-A-Tot arrived I immediately laid Lucia in it and she loved it. She actually fell asleep within a few minutes! It was really wonderful because before she could roll I would place her in the Dock-A-Tot and she would sleep soundly for hours and I could get some things done around the house. I could also give more one-on-one attention to the boys. I think it had a lot to do with how snug it was for her. I also laid her in there while she was awake and placed her under her playgym. This was one of her favorite spots and the boys would always run over to play with her too. It's also wonderful for tummy time! We absolutely loved this product for the time that we used it.
Lucia was an early roller and by the time she was 4 months old she was already doing flips! It was about that time that I stopped using it. It's important that you always have the Dock-A-Tot in a safe area while your baby is using it. Luckily, the one time she rolled in it I was in the room and she was on the ground. Eventually, we ended up donating it through a local org and now a soon-to-be mama is getting good use out of it too! I would definitely recommend this product to any parent that is looking for a safe and effective sleeping system. It's absolutely worth its weight in gold!
