We recently had a random stretch of unseasonably warm Spring weather over here in Milwaukee. It was amazing and the boys even played with chalk on the sidewalks! It was crazy good but it didn't last forever lol We got about nine inches of snow a few days ago but I'm hoping that was winter's last hoorah! Right now the snow is melting again and that makes me hopeful! Also, you guys might remember I started my mindful living project last year. My goal with that has been to learn new ways of being more mindful of what we buy and more sustainable as a family. As a result I've learned of so many amazing local stores and large brands that are doing big things in this area! It's really amazing to learn that big brands like JCrew are being more transparent of how they conduct business. I hope to continue share more ethical brands with my style posts!
I felt so comfortable and stylish with this outfit. Can you believe this is my first peplum top I've ever owned?! I'm really not sure what took me so long to hop on this trend! I think it's because I was nervous thta it wouldn't work for me. But I'm so glad I ventured out of my usual style tops and tried this one on! It goes to show you can never judge a top on the hanger, you need to try it on! :) This striped peplum top is really flattering and paired well with my new favorite wide-legged chinos ( I had to order them in blue too!). They're high-waisted and stay nice and crisp. This outfit is perfect for work or going out! I love all of the fun styles coming out for spring.
I hope you have a good one!
