Owlet Care

I still can't believe that we're already at the point where we are transitioning Lucia into her crib. These past three and a half months have flown by. Whenever we get to this point, I feel an overwhelming sense of longing for time to slow down but as I've been a first-hand witness it never does. Our sweet Lucia has been such a better sleeper than her brothers and for that I am extremely thankful! Having her sleep in the co-sleeper next to our bed has always been so comforting because I know that I can reach her if she needs help. However, she has almost outgrown it and we decided it was time to have her sleep in her room.

I always worry so much once they have to sleep in their own cribs and room! My biggest worry is whether or not I'll know if something is wrong. I always lose so much sleep over it and end up waking up multiple times a night just to make sure they're okay and sleeping. I'm sure a lot of you mama's can relate too! And believe me when I say that the worry is the same with the first little and the last. That's where Owlet Care comes in. Owlet Care is a remarkable product that uses the hospital technology called pulse oximetry to measure the heart rate and oxygen level of your baby. When we opened up the box together, B mentioned that it's the same technology he uses in the OR to measure how his patients are breathing while he's providing their anesthetic!

What's really great about this product is that it's completely safe to use at home. It uses a Smart Sock that fits snugly on Lucia's foot that monitors her heart rate, oxygen level, and alerts our phones if anything becomes irregular. I love how easy it is to put on and it comes in three different sizes as she grows.

I have peace of mind and a better nights sleep after using the Owlet Care! It's never easy watching them grow up so quickly but it's so helpful to have a product that makes the transition more manageable.
