I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was really nice especially since B's new rotation allows him to be home on the weekends this month. Which means that we got a lot done around here in terms of moving and getting things organized. I'm getting more and more excited to be in our new home! I think as time goes on I'll be sharing more home-inspired posts and style. I am not an interior stylist by any means but becoming a professional pinner haha! And I always find those types of posts helpful and am so excited for this new chapter in our lives!
Recently, I have been on the search for a floral maxi dress but hadn't found something that I loved. The weather has been crazy here and I'm sure all of your local folks can agree! On Saturday it snowed and Sunday it was in the 60's which is so crazy! Anyway I figured even though the weather is all over the place I'd still wishfully move forward and buy more Spring clothes. What I love about this maxi besides the beautiful pattern and flowy fabric is that it's non-maternity. I don't like buying a lot of maternity clothes because they are designed in a way that don't quite work postpartum. However, this one works because of the empire waist and side zipper (which makes it great for nursing as well). I know I'll get a lot of use from it this Spring/Summer. Also, pockets!
I styled it a little dressier because of wedding season coming up. But I think it would look gorgeous with a jean jacket and flat strappy sandals for a more casual vibe. I'll likely wear it that way too and share over on Instagram.
Are you guys on the hunt for any particular item this season?!
Wishing you a fantastic week ahead!
I love these colors on you! You look so beautiful! 💚
