I hope you all had an amazing Memorial Day weekend! I'm so very thankful for all of those who served and are serving so that we can have the freedoms we have today. I wish the weekend wasn't over because it was the best! We decided to stay at home while Ben and the boys washed the cars and Lucia and I got some DIY pampering done 😆 This time of year so many of the trees and bushes in the yard bloom that if we don't stop to enjoy them they'll be gone before we know it! So it was so nice to relax and grill out while we all played barefoot in the grass. It truly felt like a summer kickoff and I can't wait to have more days like today 😊
Today's post is a little different but it's something I've been wanting to write about for a while now! I'm often asked on my Instagram about what skincare and makeup products I use. It can be hard to answer everyone's questions especially with all of the different social channels I'm on! I sometimes will receive a direct message, then a message on Facebook or a comment and I lose track! I also have three little one's lol so when I'm home with them (which is every day) I try to be as present as I can. That means I have only a few hours during the day (nap time, bed time, car rides, gym and the rare babysitting) to get as much done for the blog as I can! With that being said there are still questions and emails I never get to. I figured that the best way to answer most of those questions is to share them on the blog and that way I can reference them in the future also! I am definitely a makeup and skincare fan. I wouldn't say I'm a product junkie because once I find something that works I tend to stick with it. However, now that I'm in my 30's I'm starting to venture out and try more products and it's been fun!
I hope this list helps answer some of your questions and I'm excited to start writing more beauty posts!
My Acrylic makeup case is available here! I love how it keeps my makeup organized and looking cute 😏

EYES
Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara has been my go-to for years! I love this mascara because it instantly thickens my lashes and makes them look bold. I get a lot of compliments and questions about my eyelashes all the time. I've tried all sorts of mascaras from all different price-ranges but always end up using this one the most!
The Falsies Push-up Angel Mascara What I usually do when I have a little more time to do my makeup is first separate my lashes with this mascara. I usually only have to apply one layer and then I use the Volum' express! This combo gives my lashes that va-va-voom quality I love.
Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer I always line my waterline because it makes my eyelashes appear thicker! It's a trick I've used for years and it really works!
Eyebrows
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz ABH has the best eyebrow products in the market. I love the Browiz because it has everything in one! It also lasts a really long time and is worth every penny!
Foundation
Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 I love this foundation for full-coverage. This is not something I use daily but instead when I have an event and will be taking tons of photos because it provides that even skin-tone effect. It also makes my skin look incredibly smooth and a little goes a long way! I actually stopped using foundation on a daily basis last summer because I wanted to save time getting ready right after Lucia was born 😆 However, I do use this MAC studio fix under-eye concealer all the time because mama needs help with her under-eye dark circles 😂 It's very creamy but I love it. I'll use my Studio Fix Powder plus Foundation on top to help with creasing and on my entire face on days where I want a bit more coverage. It's also nice that it has SPF protection which is so necessary on the thinner skin under our eyes.
Makeup brushes
I used to have every makeup brush under the sun haha! However, my daily routine is really fast now and I find that I always gravitate towards these 3:
MAC 187 Duo Fibre brush I use this brush for applying my foundation. It's really light and gives my makeup that airbrushed quality!
Sigma F40 Angles Contour brush I use this brush for all of my blush and bronzer application- love it.
Sigma F30 Large Powder Brush I use this one almost daily!
I bought this Studio Sculpt Bronzer Powder recently and I am obsessed with the glow it gives me! It's also great for contouring!
LIPS
If you've been following me for a while then you know that I love a good lipstick! Recently, I've been loving a softer lip and cannot get enough of MAC 'Creme Cup' It's the perfect pinky nude and sometimes I like a more glossy finish so I layer it with ABH Liquid Lipstick in 'Naked' on top !
I'm going to be hopping by Sephora later this week to pick up some of my fave skin products and a few new one's I've read great reviews about- let me know if you guys would like a haul post?!
