I hope you're having a great week so far! For some reason this week started off going really slowly haha! But I think it has a lot to do with last week's staycation. Anyway- we finally pulled ourselves together by Wednesday and now we're getting ready for a short weekend trip to Chicago! I am so excited because we haven't stayed there since before the kiddos were born. Chicago is so close to us and I'm so embarrassed to admit it's been almost five years! Yesterday, I asked on my Instagram about some family-friendly activities and restaurants to visit and I received so many amazing suggestions and tips! Thank you to all who shared something! :) I'll have to write something up once we get back. I'm really hoping we can go to several spots while we're there. We're also trying to stop by Ikea on the way back so wish us luck!
I have been wanting to try the off-the-shoulder look for quite some time. However, my biggest worry was that it wouldn't look flattering on me because (keeping it real) my nursing boobs don't look great in just any top! So I opted for a cold-shoulder style which I feel gives me more support and is the same idea. I love how feminine and flirty this dress is. Since I'm 5'3 it fits like a midi style and I'm loving this length. The material is also perfect for warmer weather and I know I'll be wearing it for a few Spring/Summer get-togethers! I styled it with a belt because I wanted a more defined waist and this cognac color is a great contrast against the stripes. Also, I've been using my market bag a lot lately and I love how roomy it is! I cannot wait until farmer's market season starts because this will be my go-to!
I hope you have a great rest of your week and if you're local are staying dry in all this rain!
