A couple of weeks ago my BFF texted me and told me that she wanted to come down to visit with her family. Of course, I was so excited and we immediately started planning their stay. It was so wonderful having them here and watching our boys play together nearly had me in tears! We first met when we were in middle school and even throughout all of my many moves as a kid we always stayed in touch. It's been 19 years now, middle school, high school, moves, college, marriage and lots of memories in between we always manage to pick up where we left off! I feel so blessed to have her friendship and being able to experience our different life stages together is what continues to enrich my life!
We went to a couple local spots and the best part was that we had really good weather here. The park was the perfect place to stop by and experience these last days of summer. But boy was it hot after a couple of hours of running around! And every day Gabriel just gets bigger. He's always talking now and says the craziest things! B and I always end up looking at each other laughing and asking where in the world did he pick that up?! (my money is on B!) If you want a flashback check out how tiny he was last year here and Cristian still in my bump!
We also had a bubble party. It somehow felt like our last huge hoorah as a family this summer! And these two were so stinking cute. I can't get over their rolls, little chins, and them looking like they're having a grown-up conversation.
And there were crumbs, fruit, and cheese everywhere! But I wouldn't want it any other way.

I am so thankful that they were able to take the long drive down to visit us! I know we'll be sharing these memories for years to come.
I hope you all had a good Labor Day weekend too.Wishing you all a great rest of your week!
BTW my sunglasses are from Loft, my Mexican blanket is from Spanglish Heart and Gabriel's Wisconsin Tee is from the Home T!
