IG food lately...

So I've realized that I post quite a bit of food on my Instagram feed that I forget to post here. And a lot of times I post a quick recipe with it. In hopes to provide continuity with the food I post there and here my goal is the share a weekly post of all my IG food on the blog! :)

Enjoy and I hope it's helpful! Happy Fri-yay!

Super easy lunch idea if you have any leftover pizza fry an egg on top and voila yummy and easy lunch!  Gabriel loved it! I got the idea from @thekittchenm on Instagram!

I've been slacking with breakfast lately. I either forget or end up eating unspeakable things... So I'm making an effort to eat a healthy filling meal. This is old fashioned rolled oats made with organic rice milk, cinammon and vanilla. I added a banana, walnuts and craisins. This is easily my favorite go-to breakfast now.

I wanted to make some thoughtful and yummy gifts for some gals in my life and I found this super cute and easy idea online at Just a Pinch- I love how it turned out! And who doesn't love some homemade cookies?!

I love to make sandwiches because you can layer them and not go wrong! I made this using naan bread, sliced Gala apples, spinach, mâché, sliced cheddar cheese and a fried egg (eggs on everything!).

This meal was a total accident because I had no idea what to make for dinner. However, it turned out so delicious I make it every other week!

You'll need:

2 chicken breasts
1 chopped green pepper
1 can navy beans rinsed & drained
1 bunch Chopped cilantro
1 tbsp olive oil
2 chopped roma tomatoes
1 chopped small white onion
Salt & pepper to taste

To make:

Grill already seasoned chicken in oil and wait until it is almost half-way cooked then remove. Add all of the veggies and grill with leftover oil. Sautee all of the veggies until they are lightly brown. Add the chicken and stir occasionally. Once you see that the chicken is cooked fully add the beans. Leave covered for about 5-10 minutes stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper as you'd like and you're all set!

Keila
