Chambray Shirt Dress : Old Navy | Knit Scarf Old Navy: Similar | Boots Steve Madden Similar : Steve Madden

Happy New Year! I keep telling mi amor that I actually feel like it's a new year and that something has shifted and changed. Is that totally weird?! Anyway- I hope you all had an amazing New Years Day!

I've been looking for a chambray tunic dress for quite some time and I was so happy when I found this one! It's very comfortable and nursing friendly. It's also very versatile. You can wear a vest on top and different boots to give it a completely different vibe. I paired it with these Steve Madden boots and my cozy knit scarf. I love how effortless and comfortable this look is. And it was the perfect price for my clothing budget. Speaking of budgets- it is so important to have a clothing budget. My husband and I have always had one (and a home budget) to keep the peace, haha! But for real it has been so helpful in our marriage. Generally we look at our monthly income then we find out what percentage would be reasonable to set aside. I have stuck at 10-15% a month. However, that doesn't mean I use it up every month. And when I don't use it, it does NOT roll over to the next month. If you don't have a clothing budget I highly recommend starting one in the New Year, you'll be so glad you did!
